We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in the hospital setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and support patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine procedures.
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatments, and observations, accurately and timely.
- Support patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility as needed. Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment in compliance with infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere to all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in Louisiana.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
